Ajmer Sharif Dargah is world famous as it is believed that no prayer in this dargah goes unanswered. It is the most famous attraction in the city of Ajmer in Rajasthan. The city was founded in the 7th century by Raja Ajay Pal Chauhan. The Dargah is one of the most revered shrines by Muslims. It is a famous pilgrimage center where people of different religious backgrounds come to pray. Followers come here from all over the world. Reflects the Mughal architectural style. This sacred shrine was built in honor of Saint Khwaja Moin-Ud-Din Chisti, who dedicated his life to the service of the poor. The dargah is made of marble with a golden dome. According to historical records, the Mughal Emperor
Akbar visited this Dargah on foot from Delhi to pray for an heir. Later his
prayer was answered. For women, the shrine has a separate room built by Chimni
Begum, the daughter of Shah Jahan.
Ajmer Sharif Dargah is known as the site of the
famous Urs fair. This mass is celebrated every year in memory of Saint Khwaja
Moin-Ud-Din Chisti. The mass attracts numerous pilgrims to pray to the saint.
The celebration lasts six days. Devotees come with offerings such as rose and
jasmine flowers and sandalwood paste during the fair. According to tradition,
as soon as the devotee's wish is fulfilled, the devotee offers Chadar, Neem,
and Ghilaph to the shrine. Mehfils and religious gatherings are held during
Mass. The quawwalis are sung in praise of the saint.

Lake Ana Sagar
It is a beautiful man-made lake named after Anaji
Chauhan (Prithvi Raj Chauhan's grandfather). There is a marble pavilion near
the lake, built by Emperor Shahjahan. There is also a beautiful garden called
Daulat Bagh, which was designed by Emperor Jehangir.
Taragarh Fort
This historic fort was built in 1345. It is one of
the most important forts in Rajasthan. The fortified walls are pierced by six
entrance gates. It boasts of Bhim Burj as a whole, which is one of the largest
battlefields in India. There is also the dargah of Miran Saheb, the former
governor of the fortress.
